A New Year For All
A New Year For All!
To our dearest friends. The ones who really matter. To all of you.
Thank you.
You've been at our shows, let us crash on your floors, stayed up until sunrise with us, driven hours to see us, and all sorts of deeds above and beyond the necessary.
If it wasn't for all of you, we wouldn't be writing page long emails debating whether another verse should come after this chorus, or should we go into the bridge. We wouldn't lock The Ryantist in the studio for 12 hours at a time cranking out the hits. We wouldn't be planning our next release and next tour.
Thank you for your support, happy holidays, we love you, let's wear crazy outfits together. Remember that hat you bought at the gas station in the middle of no where? We do too. Wear that.
From us to you: It Is The Holidays.

Antennas Up on Westwood One
Antennas Up's Thanksgiving story was recently featured along with Billy Corgan, AFI, Coldplay, Beck, Radiohead and Muse on Westwood One broadcasts across the country last weekend. Here's what was read:
Antennas Up…And So Is The Thanksgiving Phone Call
Antennas Up are familiar with life on the road away from the family at holidays, but one year they enjoyed at least one awkward tradition with loved ones. Guitarist Bo McCall tells us that most Thanksgivings include that phone call with family members where someone tells them, “Hey, I have a special someone for you to talk to.” The guitarist says it’s usually a distant relative or someone you haven’t spoken to in ages and the conversations just turns awkward. So one year, while driving back to Kansas City from Omaha, the group decided to put their own spin on the conversation. Each band member would call a loved one and then tell them they had someone special to talk to until the phone had been passed to each member in the van. McCall says, “Some friends hung up mid-call. Some friends thought it was hilarious. Some were just confused. This was all absolutely juvenile, but I laughed so hard that tears were spitting out of my eyes.” The guitarist says they spent the full three-hour drive calling people and were aching from laughter by the time they arrived home.
